Anyway, we also went to check out the Modern Living Home Fair at Expo, and we realized we’ve only covered 100m in an hour before we got to rush off to another place. Our last stop at the Expo was at Supreme Flooring - a super laminate flooring which I was rather impressed with. Anyway I might check it out again this week. On the other hand, I have no idea what to expect from the IDs while waiting for all the quotes to come in.

I mentioned about this
After some time a few IDs have came back to us with proposed layouts!
(1) Ms Diana from DyelDesign. Last to meet up with her, first to get back. Impressive service. Love her and quite enjoyed the discussions we had. She drew out her layout and broke down the quotation into a lot of details. Very much appreciated.
(2) Ms Irene from Edgeline. Just met her yesterday and quite like her design. Although there wasn't any quotation given as yet, she wanted to make sure we're ok with her proposal before she proceeds on. I thought that's ok too, since she wouldn't be wasting time re-doing the quotation, if we decided to change our mind about using her.
(3) Ms Christina. Don't know whether she's too busy, but it's been a long time. We've seen her twice and she's the latest to get back. I'm hoping she can do better.
Anyway, from my memory with Ms Diana's and Ms Irene's sessions, I drew out the layout~. Please do not mind my layman drawing below:
Level 1
Diana's Proposed Layout for Level 1.
Irene's Proposed Layout for Level 1.
Let me just do a little explanation here.
On the left, you go into the patio. And there'll either be a platform deck or floor which extends the living room to make it look more spacious. For Ms D's layout, the stairs is only accessible by the living room. For Ms I's layout, the platform goes to the kitchen and the living room as well. Ms I has a huge bathroom concept which I like, but we'll have to compromise the kitchen space to go to the backyard. Ms D's kitchen is still under the concrete roof and left the backyard to be a washing area, just according to what we wanted.
Level 2
Left: Ms D's. Right: Ms I's. Both with walk-in and standard layout of queen bed, but Ms I suggested a light urinal instead of the full WC with full shower facilities. We wanted her to keep that option open instead. Otherwise, there isn't anything much space we can meddle with for Level 2.
Ok will update again.
*Oh yes, since we're not sure if the renovation can be completed by 9th June or a week before, we've booked our ROM at ROM itself. Venue and solemnizer can be changed 10 days prior. But then we are having some problems with the time slot. So we'll see what we can do again. :)
