There is staircase (or a overhead bridge) at Jalan Ma'mor which leads to the neighbourhood of Toa Payoh.
You'll have to get across the huge Pan Island Expressway.

Above: To the right, you'll see this remotely quiet place. JTC flatted factories in the background.
Above: To the left, another stretch of of remoteness. Oh my.
Above: Jalan Tenteram flats. A cluster of rather new HDB flats at the corner of the same neighbourhood.
See the map above, we're at Point A. Safra Toa Payoh and Shuang Lin Temple are easily of walkable distance at about 300m. Now I can walk to Shuang Lin Temple!

Do not want them to think that it is landed as well... we are definitely not 'BIG fishes' for them!

Yeah it's true, some of them are really not familiar with the rules and regulations and you may sometimes end up going through more hassle because some things are not approved for eg and end up paying more. Get Christina, she's been working on this estate for the longest time and is on very good terms with the HDB people who's in charge on this area. Have emailed you her contact!
